Russel Chesler
Executive Director

Russel specialises in product strategy, product development, execution and distribution. His areas of expertise include:

• Equity, Property, Fixed Interest, Alternatives & Structured Products
• Superannuation
• Insurance & Risk Management
• Retirement Income Strategies & Liability Driven Investments.

He has over 20 years' experience in financial services both in Australia and South Africa and has a demonstrable track record of pioneering and building leading edge product and services businesses. Russel is a member of the Wealth Management sub-committee of the Actuaries Institute.

Previously Russel worked for Perpetual Limited where he was the General Manager Structured Products. He was responsible for launching and ongoing management of a series of successful leveraged capital protected products.

Prior to this Russel worked for Grange Securities where he was accountable for originating and developing alternative investment products for High Net Worth and Wholesale clients.

For many years Russel also worked as an expert in corporate superannuation at Alexander Forbes in South Africa where he held various management roles. In Russel's last role at Alexander Forbes as Head of Product Development his main focus was investment strategies and products.

Russel holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. He qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (United Kingdom).
